Privacy Policy
Effective August 2026. This policy explains how wordsnap.net, operated by Noble Erne, LLC, handles information. It is written for this site specifically, because what Word Counter does with data differs from a site that asks you to create an account.
The short version
There is no account, no login, and no contact form that stores what you submit. The tool itself runs on your device. The parts of this page worth reading are the advertising section and the section on what the tool touches.
Your text never leaves your browser
Counting happens on your device. Nothing you paste is transmitted, stored, logged, or retained in any form. People paste manuscripts, legal drafts, and unpublished research into word counters, so this is not a small point.
Close the tab and the text is gone. We have no copy because we never received one.
No document upload
This site deliberately does not accept file uploads. Uploads would mean your document reaching a server, and there is no version of that we are willing to operate.
Analytics
No analytics package is installed on this site. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent, and we do not measure individual visits. The only traffic data available to us is what our hosting provider reports in aggregate as part of running the servers.
Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites.

California residents may direct requests about personal information to the email on the contact page. Because this site keeps no accounts, there is normally no stored personal record to access or delete.
